Help, I've got a tear in one the drivers its listed in my documents as a 8"long excursion wooofer, its an American speaker can I get a replacement driver here in the UK

Hi,
Should be easy to repair, for paper cones use PVA wood glue.

many thanks for the advice, can the glue just be applied to one side only or does it need to be applied to both sides

Use the glue in combination with some small sections of tissue paper, on both sides. Don't build it up too much, try to keep the repair profile very low.

Hi,
A picture of the tear would help. Generally apply along the edges of the tear - from the back if that is possible for neatness. Even from the front usually not too noticable. Tissue paper is only needed when there are gaps to bridge.
