Deflex/Wispermat/BH5 or Normal Acoustic Foam in a sealed enclosure

I am building a small sealed 12L bookshelf design based on the Seas Loki kit and was wondering if there would be any audible benefit in using dampening panels (Deflex/Wispermat/BH5/PE Sonic Barrier) to line the enclosure as opposed to normal acoustic foam (i.e. the stuff madisound sell in 27"x42"x5/8" sheets) or acu-stuff?

The cabinets will be built out of 3/4" MDF with a 1" front baffle.

Are these dampening panels worth the cost in sealed speakers, or are they really only worth while in ported designs?

I have never used any of the dampening panels before so I thought i'd look for some reviews to see if they are worthwhile. Plenty of people seem to say they are the ducks nuts while plenty more say they are a waste of $.

If these things are worthwhile, which one provides the best value for money?
