Tannoy 6.5 Limpet Conversion

Does anyone know about Tannoy Limpet amplifiers?

I have a pair of Tannoy PBM 6.5 passive speakers; is it possible to make these into active monitors with the Limpets? or do i need PBM 6.5 LM speakers?



In an early thread, someone was talking about needing to bypass the "passive crossovers" and also mentioned "bi-amp" (http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showt...084#post244084)

I have 3 Tannoy limpet amplifiers that I used with my Tannoy speakers. They are awesome. Some of the best use this in their studios and it is highly regarded. They sound great. I am actually selling them, because I sold my speakers. Let me know if you are interested. They make a killer combo
