Hi everyone,
First post on this forum... I just looked at my speakers and one of them as a crack (about 3mm) on the rubber of the bass unit. Until now I didn't notice any change on the sound. I'm worried that it might get worse...can I do anything to prevent it? Glue? Thanks |

If the surround is butyl, silicone won't stick very well. Sometimes rubber cement will work, sometimes clear nail polish.
You just have to be careful you don't use a product that will degrade the rubber so try it on a small area first. |

Thanks for your replies.
I will give rubber cement a go. Will post before and after pictures asap. |
