Default Building a pair of LS3/5A's

I recently picked up a Dynaco ST-70 parts, chassis and cage from evilBay and I'll begin breathing life into that starting next week. Being the kind of person who typacly has 7 or 8 projects going at the same time I figured I should also build a set of speakers to go with the amp. So I went over to ls35a.com and downloaded the measured drawings, headed over to the local Rocklers Lumber, purchased some birch plywood and started building.

I have a set of drivers (kef110b SP1003) but I still need the tweeters and I'll need to build the crossover (unless someone here has two they would like to part with). I purchased some rosewood veneer yesterday and I'll use that to cover them. I was planning on using Cardas binding posts set up for bi-wireing.

As for dampening material I was wondering what anyone though of "No Rez". From what I can tell its simular to Blackhole 5 material but thinner. I could go with wool too but just wanted to here what everyone thought

Here are some pics

Looking good jscherer,
I've blown my LS3/5As (B110 Sp1003) & am in the process of trying to repair them - if this doesn't work out, I may have crossovers & T27 pair for sale but it won't be for a while before I give up trying to fix them!

Hi jkeny,

do you still have the LS3/5a crossovers? Are they for sale?

Falcon is selling new LS3/5A XOs again. They were the OEM XO manufacturer for many brands.
