I've got a working pair of Tangent RS4s available for the taking in the greater Boston area. The cabinet tops are somewhat scratched, but the grillcloth is fine and they sound great -- much like old KEFs. They eat power and only generate moderate volume, but are clean and neutral sounding. Might be the banana plugs, but I think it's the combo of KEF and Audax drivers that makes these old school floor-standing speakers great.
I don't have room for them any more and after decades of enjoyable use, I can't bear to leave them on the curb. So, if you can pick them up in the Newton or MetroWest area this week, they're yours. Write me at happyju AT gmail . |
