At sub frequencies, you won't have any diffraction issues. Let's say your sub plays up to 200 Hz. The wavelength of a 200 Hz wave is 5'7". It would take one heck of a bevel to impact a wavelength that long.
Joe D'Appolito points out in his "Measuring Loudspeakers" book that a 3/4" bevel corresponds to the frequency 18000 Hz. Food for thought. |
