radioshack does not carry a speaker cable with 1/4" jacks on it...go to a music store and buy a nice one anyways...

Instead of going to 4 music stores and buying 4 leads, 2 jacks (pref Neutrik), some cable, solder and 15 mins and you'll have a nice lead.

Make sure the gauge of the wire is "Watt" appropriate, hence why a jack (guitar cable) is no good.

If you go DIY, Mogami and Belden make great cable for this, just do your research and use the right one! As far as 1/4" jacks, just make sure they Anchor to the wire really well as this is a vulnerable stress point and always seem to fail when you have a gig. I also like using silver lead free solder for stressed conections.

No worries. Butch at Bayou gets excellent props from many on the bass forums, and it seems his cables are solid well engineered, non-BS product for decent $..
