So I decided that computer speakers weren't cutting it anymore, and I bought a NAD integrated amplifier and built two little towers with 3" tang-band cones. The tang-bands were surprisingly well rounded but I wanted more bass, so I bought a secondhand klipsch SW8. Now I have more bass than I can deal with, and need more mid's and hi's. I temporarily set up some boston acoustics bookshelf speakers, but I need to return them (and they were beaten up a bit and lacking in quality)... I have about $100-150 but not too much time to invest in a project.
I was thinking about building that Partsexpress Dayton BR-1 kit. Advice? |
