Peerless HDS 821921 color

Hello,

I just bought two Peerless HDS 810921 tweeters to make this monitors

You see in my pics that mine are violet/purple. Why? Are they different driver or the same?

same driver, known to have purple color under halogen light

Photos are funny. I would almost guarantee it is a difference in lighting.

also my eyes see the tweeter with that color. But I must admit that I saw it only at night with litghs on....

That's the right driver.

Note that my design is tuned towards a bit forward and bright side due to the elevated upper midrange, which fits my voicing preference.

To make its midrange less bright, you can use a lower value for the C9 series capacitance: 12 uF or even 11 or 10 uF by experimenting.
