Hey there,
I'm ready to order everything I need to build a test jig and I already have the Behringer ECM 8000 mike as well as a phantom power supply. Everything but one thing, that is.... This is the cord I want to get to go from the PS to the computers sound card. However, I cant figure out whether I need a simple adapter, or a transformer? Or is there some better rout? Can anyone help me out? I have an order @ both RS and PE waiting until I have this resolved. TIA.

The ECM8000 with power and no pre amp will go straight to the mic input of your sound card.
From there you can do levels in your setup and decide whether to use a pre amp, whch could improve the noise floor. |

Great, so I don't need a transformer - just to convert the 1/4" jack to an 1/8" and plug it right in. Thanks.
