Hi,
ANyone familiar with audio beam speaker? particularly in measurements of audio beam loud speaker.... lets discuss on this... it is the coming hot stuff... |

Sennheiser has a product like this too.
Rather a smart idea, it uses ultrasound and the nonlinearity of air at extreme sound pressure levels (~140 dB). One should not expect extreme directivity in ordinary sized rooms, though, the beam is still reflected on the walls and will hit you eventually. |

Hi, yeah... I'm currently working on the audio beam loudspeakers now. I also have the commerical product from ATC(H460). Intending to carry out some measurements on the sound parameters, freq response and etc on the H460..
Any idea which software is good for recording? particularly on user friendly and robust controls: 1. adobe audtion 2.NI lab view 3. win MLS. Im currently leaning towards labview...any opinions? |

I would be interested in seeing some FR, CSD, and distortion plots of those.

It seems like the driver needs to be an ultrasonic driver.

Why do you want a narrow beam? If this is for listening to music at home your going in the wrong direction.
