Ah you mentioned "I'm done with ribbons" which I mistook for the generalisation. Its clear to me now what you really meant was "I'm done with AC ribbons" in this case.

What compression driver have you used with the 3450/1 PHL?
I haven't. I was just offering another ribbon option for Telya.

The G1 and the 3450 is fix! - No discussion...

And the bass...a 15" driver would be real nice -jep- but it is to big! 12" is almost hard at the WAF...

Hello vincent ,
I'm putting together a 3 way using the PHL's ,I was after something not much bigger than the Cabasse farrela 400.
This kit was put together by http://www.warco.com.au/.

1x Raven R1 ,1x PHL 1120 6.5" & PHL 12" 4530 .
passive xover points 350hz and 3.5 K .
Would like to go active .

I'll be tri-amping with SET's
Cheers.

This product isn't released yet but from what I've heard it'll be a pro audio orientated driver with higher efficiency and more durability. That's the extent of my knowledge I'm afraid. The interesting thing is that it will be one of RAAL 'statement' products so I'd have high hopes for this considering the lowly 140-15d is already a great driver.

Your best off contacting Alex at RAAL and see if he has any extra information to give out at this time.
