I'm very excited because I have my order coming!
I was looking to clone the sonus faber auditors but my current budget and skill "limits" me to a similar alternative project untill I can afford the scanspeak drivers. Anyways, I found a box made by Dayton that has similar dimensions as the sonus cab. i'll be posting my progress as soon as i recieve my shipment. Xover point will be 2.5khz 1st order Morel MDT-33 1-1/8" Matched Soft Dome Tweeter Pair Vifa PL14WJ-09-08 5-1/2" Cast Frame Midwoofer 1 093-562 WBT 0765R Midline Fully Insulated Binding Post Red 1 093-563 WBT 0765W Midline Fully Insulated Binding Post Whi 2 255-668 Jantzen 0.47mH 14 AWG Copper Foil Inductor 1 260-530 Sonic Barrier 3/4" 3-Layer Damping Material w/PSA 2 027-938 Jantzen 18uF 400V Crosscap Capacitor 2 302-713 Dayton TWC-0.38CH .38 ft³ 2-Way Curved Cabinet and some speaker stands... I will be using a wooden type wedge or rubber to acheive a 15 degree back tilt angle....... TO BE CONTINUED...... |
