I am new at "DIY Audio" and i am new in the audio world.

Is there anyone out there who knows where to get basic data on stereo speaker engineering?

And i wonder if there is anyone out there with a suggestion on a
good first time speaker to build?

This forum, the rest of the internet, etc. That's where I've learned a large majority of what I know, which certainly isn't a spectacular amount by any means, but anyway..

If you'd like to try a really cheap and simple pair of speakers just for fun and learning, I'd suggest looking into the Pioneer B20 projects out there, or something like that. Google and whatnot should be able to help you with that. There are all kinds of simple designs out there to begin with that have been documented. Just search around until you find something that really interests you.
