Hi. I have a pair of Infinity Kappa (somethings) which I purchased at Goodwill recently. One woofer and both tweeters appear to have been blown, although I only found out about the tweeters after I replaced the crossover components to (unsuccessfully) restore sound to them. I was stumped because the tweeters appear to still be giving out some sound, just not very much.
My question is, are there any adequate replacements for the emit-r tweeters that I could purchase? Some NOS emit-r's are sporadically available on ebay, but I was just wondering if there is an acceptable alternative that might be a wee bit cheaper. I'm looking for "best possible sound for a pair of tweeters under $100" (not including shipping). Thanks in advance for your replies. Sincerely, Mike Nolley |
