Default The "Poverello" three way project

Hallo,
I'm planning to build a three way loudspeaker with poor components.
Since italian names usually give an hi-end touch to a speaker:
-Opera, Bel Canto, Concerto, Puccini and so on...
I've decided to give an italian name to this project too:
"Poverello"
that means poor but in a nice way.

I found this 13 cm speaker that I would like to be the center of the loudspeakers, these are the characteristics:

60W
8Ohm
88db
Re 6Ohm
Fs 65Hz
Qms 2,65
Qes 0,52
Qts 0,43
MMS 6,5g
I think that a low mass will be usefull on voices and transients
Cms 0,9 mm/N
also this value seem ok
VAS 7,3 dmc
Bxl 5,5 Wb/m
Xmax 3mm
Le 0.55

This is the frequency response.

In a 0,7 Qtc sealed box the woofer reach a -3db poin at 106hz. I know the Qts is a little low.
I think that this will be a nice way to naturally filter the low end and mix it up with a sub unit.
What do You think about this?
Please note that this unit cost just 20€ I think could be a nice place to start for a poor three way system.
Have You got any suggestion?

That driver is peaky and I don't think it will sound very good.

If you really want to be 'poverello', perhaps you should go 2-way,
but use a better woofer.

Consider the HW132, it has a smoother response.

I couldn't find a price list to compare prices,

MW130 looks OK as a mid driver, but my pick of the drivers is the HW203. Have a look at their projects HO3.21 and, for a 3 way, HO3.4

If you go 2-way, fewer xover parts mean you've got more money to spend on good speakers..... which is the key to a good sound in the first place....
