I've just finished (a few days ago) my baffles for the hawthorne silver iris 15" coaxials. Sounds beautiful. Real room-filling music and great clarity. Sounds nice at most locations around my room (though it's not a big one) Not bass heavy, but I like it that way. I think my old pioneer HT speakers were boomy.

Nice idea and execution on the sandwich baffle and grille cloth! Well done. Congratulations.
Looking closer at the face baffle, I guess you might want to chamfer or round the front edge around the driver. |

It's plywood, so it might turn out bad if I did that...my woodworking skills aren't that great but coming along. It was hard enough getting the circle circular. My dad has a shop with a router, which i may use next time for something... The corner molding did turn out particularly well though, which was nice. Looks fake but it's solid oak.
