I once knew a guy with Asperger syndrome.

Apologies, couldn't resist.

Am I the only one that thought of that when glancing at the subject?

Good grief! Seems like you'd at least get some T/S parameters from the manufacturer's website for those kinds of prices, much less measurements of any sort. What's up with Pioneer/TAD?? This stuff's outrageous. I knew TAD was high, but jeez.

Default TAD

TAD gives very complete T/S specifactions for their drivers... it's on the "specifications" page.

Unless I have missed something... no no NO! Sorry for the bad news, but here it is.

You can not just buy drivers and a crossover and whack them together, ESPECIALLY with such quality drivers. The crossover must be made for your speakers, utilising real life measurements in controlled conditions and designed by someone who knows what they are doing.

Madisound.com offer a crossover modeling service, but with that sort of serious system I would not trust them to model it. You need real measurements.

Thanks guys for answers!
I just relly don't know how to connect Woofer and driver together.

Two contacts going from woofer to drivers (split together) , out of monitors to amp, and crossover?

I sympathize with your situation. This is a very fine monitor,
and deserves serious effort.

It so happens that I worked up a similar system for one of my
business partners using the 1601 in a BLH and 4001 with the
Emlar horns. Here is the schematic for that speaker:

Here also is a snapshot of the 1M response of the speaker.

I don't happen to think that this is the best possible crossover
for this speaker, but it is a good start.

My business partner is reknown for tweaking passive crossovers
(he insists on passive crossovers as they are essential to
evaluating amplifiers, which of course is our primary business),
and so the presumption was made that he would play with it
over time.

I suggest simply that is a good start, known to measure well, and
might serve as the basis for a more refined version.

So i need 1 amp. for pair of 4001?
And one for pair of 1603 woofer?
So outputs from both 4001 goes to first amplifier, and from 1603 to second?
Is it right?
Can anybody upload image from inside of speaker, so i can see each wire location?
Or drow for me schematic.
I cannot understand attachment from Nelson Pass! i need something simple.
Thank you!

I can hardly read a schematic myself usually, so don't feel left out or anything.
