Hello Guys,

I am looking for a speaker kit to build. I prefer to build a kit with Seas speakers because I think they look really cool and people seem to really love them.

First off I listen mostly to Jazz and I love great female vocals.
Im looking for extended and sharp highs and really clear and clean mids.

I have two kits in mind the Seas L15RLYP / 27TFFC System from Zaph and HATT-MkIII by Tony Gee. I am leaning more towards the HATT-MkIII since I already have the woofers.

Do you think that either one of these would suit my needs?

If not feel free to suggest other kits that sound great.

Thanks

Lawrence

Either one of these speakers will fit your needs - since you already have the woofers for Tony's design you might as well go ahead and build that one. You'll be very happy with the results.

If you want to extend the bass consider a subwoofer - all depends on your preferences and listening room size.

I agree

You can't go wrong with either. Another good one is Madisound's Seas P18RNX/P (H1350) 6.5" Polypropylene Cone Woofer with Phase Plug & Seas 27TDFC is a low viscosity ferrofluid cooled tweeter.

Madisound was offering finished x-over for this design but I'm not sure if they still do.
