Default Waveguide + 27TDF

I have Seas 27TDF and Dayton RS180S is on the way. Since is not good combination for two way system, I'm thinking what can I do about it? It's meant to be a center in home theater system.
I could just put there 2" midrange or steeper filter with RCLs, but I would like to keep the construction price at minimum.
There is a posibility to hornload the tweeter as Zaph did. I know it isn't chamber version, but I can move Fs a little bit down by tuning the internal damping. I'll definately not buy the MCM (Zaph) waveguide, front wall of speaker is made from 40mm thick oak. With router should be easy to mill just any profile. So what profile is the best?
If the milling work proved to be too hard, the only way is this.
I heard flat profile has constant directivity, what about him? Could you recomend me size? Or should I stick to Zaph's profile and size?

Yes these two drivers ARE compatible for a 2-way, with or without waveguide!

The 27TDF without a rear chamber cannot be used in my design. Too quick a read, Curtis

What about making the tweeter chamber version?
Just drill a hole in the pole piece and made the chamber from wood. Again, shape of chamber, volume, stuffing?
