lets say a HF driver is runing on a coaxial -can putting a notch at ~driver/horn resonance help improve sonics? what works?

If the output is up at driver/horn res, then a notch filter, properly set for magnitude will help.
Things get complicated, however, because the notch filter with change the apparent acoustic point of origin. I assume we are close to the crossover frequency the driver/horn res point. If so, then the change in the acoustic center for the driver/horn can change how the two drivers sum. The two together might get better or they might get worse. Can you test to see what the system is doing now? Mark |

If you're using a coaxial right now, I'd simply be curious to know what it is, and how you're using it.
