Default Wharfedale TSR 112's... A Little Info Please!

Hi All,

Firstly, this is my first post on these forums, so hello to you all!

I'm after a little info, if some kind person here could possibly help. A while ago I inherited a pair of TSR 112's from my boss (who now has ESL 63's). They're wonderful speakers and I absolutely love them, but I can't find any information about them anywhere on the net. The main thing I'd like to know is how old they are, and when this series first appeared. Were there other similar speakers in the same range?

Any info much appreciated!

Paul

Default Wharfedale info

I've found that if you search eBay for the product you're curious about, you may find the seller knowledgeable & willing to provide the details you need.
Wharfedale's factory burned awhile ago & there isn't any records left of old models like my Super 12 CS-AL's & super 3's.
Good luck,
dobias

Hi,

big old beasts, 2 x10" bass, 8" mid, 1" tweeter with a dubious recess :

mid and treble level controls.

There was a range of TSR speakers from a small MTM using the
Diamond drivers upwards. I'd say replacing some of the crossover
components might be worthwhile. Felt lining the tweeter recess
(I thought they came with this ....) might help somewhat.
