I have a pair of Celestion Ditton 332 speakers; quite old but they still sound good (to me, anyway). I have lost track of which is the left speaker, and which is the right speaker.
What I mean is that the two speakers are not identical, but rather they are mirror images in terms of the placement of the three individual speaker transducers. So if I have the two speaker cabinets arranged one way, the individual elements are closer to the midpoint between the two speakers, and the tweeters are closer to each other than the woofers. If I swap the two cabinets, then the speaker elements would be more to the outside overall, and the tweeters are farther apart than the woofers. I dimly recall that one particular arrangement was supposed to produce better "imaging", but I can't remember which. Any advice? Thanks, Mike |

Try both ways and see.

Probably with the tweeters and mids on the inside, closest to each other.
That's my guess.
