What are you trying to notch?
If you are trying to kill the 7KHz break up node of the woofer - this does nothing to help. In that case - you need a series notch filter (that is inductor / cap / resistor all wired in series, then paralled with the woofer). You then increase or decrease the resistor to reduce / increase the amount of cut. In zaphs design - he uses just a cap / inductor without a resistor to create the deepest notch possible precisely at the L18's largest breakup node. Your parallel notch doesn't achieve anything (I've modeled on Zaph's L18 measurement). Hope that helps, David. |
