Default what drivers does Genelec uses?

Like Genelec 8040A.... I would like to know what do they use inside? Peerless HDS drivers? or anything else...

Onthing that seems clear to me is that they use vifa metal domes tweeters... but what about woofers? and amp chips? some say that they use TDA chips inside...

any info on this? I have searched for this info but couldnt find it... anybody knows about this?

regards,
Ken

Their big subs use multiple Peerless 12" XLS drivers.

Think custom units from Peerless is used in the 5" (or thereabouts) monitors.

I think they make(2006) ribbons tweeters in-the-house. They do the amplification for the system, custom for each driver. They have giant machines inside for making xovers, soldering and parts.

Hi!
My Genelec 1030A has definately Seas or Vifa drivers. Hard to tell the difference between these brands if were speaking about the production from years between 1980-90.

Cheers,
Peter
