Default kits with cabinets?

I need some links to companies that offer a full kit with cabinets. I am terrible at wood work, so I need everything pre cut.

I'm looking for floor standing full range ideas with 8" woofers

Two companies come to mind right away.

www.madisound.com & www.partsexpress.com

Both companies offer complete kits with cabinets.

You might also search this forum for other companies.

You could find a design you like then contact Scott Stein to build the cabinets for you.

Partsexpress just came out with some redesigned bookshelf sized enclosures, and I'm assuming they'll do the same with the rest. However, they only go up to 1 cubic foot volume, which obviously isn't floor standing/fullrange. And of course, you'd still have to cut the blank baffles..

Madisound offers the MD38T floorstanding cabinet (9 x 38 x 11, 38 liters) and it has an internal shelf that can be moved around. Still not huge by any means, and you'll be limited to 6.5"/7" woofers. Maybe you could fit some 8's in there, but I doubt it. Regardless, it'll definitely play a role in determining your woofers, as you've only got up to 29 liters to play with...or maybe 38 if using a sealed back mid/tweet..

I think Zalytron in NY will build some really nice custom cabinets for you, but only for drivers that they sell..

GR Research offers his kits with some pretty nice cabinets..

I can't remember whether or not Raw Acoustics has any enclosures for their kits, haven't been there in a while...but I do know they have pre-cut baffles..

You might could try contacting Kyle Richardson at Acoustic Visions and see if he could build your enclosures for you. I gotta warn you though, it's not extremely cheap, and anything more than 2-channel can get pretty expensive..

We do... but you are on the wrong side of the continent for anything that isn't small, We do offer flat-paks for the Frugel-Horn and soon for the Fonken.

I do, but there are limits on size that I can ship. And I'm slow. Located in Baltimore, MD.

If they came out with a floor-standing curvy cabinet that was 40" tall, had a baffle that could fit the RS225, and was at least 2 cu ft, my wallet would be in trouble.
