Default horns theory?

Please, if somebody could say any good literature or source how to build my own horns?
I need strong theory – how the horn works, math and physics.
I appreciate all information and advises.

Dinsdale, Leach, King (you'll be able to find all those on the net)

Lots of papers in the AES Journals & preprints (those usually cost money)

This forum, the Full Range Forum and others.

There is no 1 definitive source.

Ditto all of the above, especially the Volvotreter site; download the articles by Bruce Edgar. Then make lots of sawdust. Took me several failed experiments before I worked out what I liked and what worked for me. Since then, I've found some more to keep me interested theoretically until I build some more (no space for horns ATM).

Though it might not be politically correct to a lot of people, I don't condiser most BLH's to be horns. Real horns are front loaded.

For anyone who's not afraid of math, I've found that the derivations of horn theory at quarter-wave.com are right on the money.

The EASIEST way to grasp what a horn does is to BUILD one -
but the FASTEST way to get it RIGHT is to design one using the software at quarter-wave.com.

It's $25 well spent. I use it all the time.

Here is an excellent site that you should check out. Not only is his site full of information, he is a great guy and is usually able to answer many questions on the subject.
