Hi All,
I'm thinking about a small MTM DIY effort. But, I hear a lot of conflicting opinions on this configuration. It causes lobing. It doesn't cause lobing. Does to. Does not. Etc. Rather than spin a bunch cycles on this, would I be better off reading Joe D'Appolito's article, "A Geometric Approach to Eliminating Lobing Error in Multiway Loudspeakers" circa 1983, or purchasing some of the past issues of Speaker Builder that contained articles addressing this issue by the same author? Thanks! |

Thanks, that was interesting.
Similar size to what I'm considering: an MTM with 5" drivers. |
