Sorry if this is the wrong forum, please send me to the correct forum if it is.
Basically, i have a pair of m-audio Bx8a powered studio monitors. On one of the monitors the tweeter does not work. The positive connection on the board works fine, but the ground (black / -) connection does not work. Now, when i throw the ground connection for the tweeter over to the woofers amp hookin, the tweeter runs, but the crossover for the woofer is preventing the tweeter from getting the frequencies it needs. They are bi-amped speakers with crossovers. So i guess my question is, how in the world do i troubleshoot this thing, or how can i find another place on the crossover/amp board where i could attach the black wire so i am on the correct crossover circuit. m-audio speaker spec page if you need pictures of the actual board in the speaker cabinet, i can get those also. Thank you |
