Bought a pair of these while on sale at P.E. (still on sale BTW) - just want to use them as HT surrounds but wondering if I should use any kind of filter on them? There is no FR graph on the P.E. page so I don't know if they have any serious hills or valleys.

I believe I've seen some projects with these (JG's line arrays?) but can't remember where.

The product and performance looks very much like the old W3-871S.

Well, since they're just going to be surround speakers for HT and ambience for music listening, it looks like I'll get by just having the receiver channels set to "small" - there won't ever be much demand on them.

They might make some decent computer speakers too, & mains for a small bedroom system - just thinking of ways to take advantage of that great <$9.00 sales price.
