Hi all,
I have a pair of KLH 911B bookshelf speakers that I got around 2000. I'm going to replace the drivers in them with something decent. I hate building boxes and I'm already in the middle of building boxes for another project, and I've been taking forever because I only do a little work on them at a time. I need a ~1" tweeter that will work with a 2.5" cutout and have a 3", MAYBE 3.5" overall diameter. Not a lot of difference between those numbers so I'm having a little trouble. The stock tweeter is square. If you have a 5-1/4" woofer to recommend along with it, or a whole system that will work, let me know. Looking for as cheap as I can go while having a significant quality improvement. |

I've checked out both. My requirements are a little too strict for anything decent from what I saw.

I suppose that is an option. Better than making the whole box, I suppose.
