I use that self-adhesive foam insulation that comes in the skinny rolls at just about any store. Line the underside of the mounting-edge of the driver with it, just inside the screw holes, and you can put it in and take it out all day without the seal having to be replaced. IF you are making a subwoofer or another driver that you can lay on it's back, you can just set the driver in there and it's own weight will make a good seal with the foam insulation, as long as you havn't drilled the screw holes yet.
Parts express has some sealing strip that works well. It is a bit thinner and denser than standard house insulating stuff. If you are careful, a thin layer of peelable weather stripping caulking works quite well. It takes a bit of effort to release the speaker, but this provides a good combination of removable, excellent seal, plus some mechanical advantage as well.
