Hello all, I am trying to narrow my research if you would oblige
![]() I have done two speaker projects in the past. The linus 2 arrays and the Linkwitz Orions. I currently only have the Orions. They are great but provide a few problems. Toddler problems, my small child with another coming to create problems is going to do something to them - I can see it coming. Because of this I would like to build another set. I would like them to be passive floor sanding speakers, and an enclosed cabinet so little guys cannot get behind and play with the drivers. Thats the big problem with the orions, they are like a playground for kids. I am a little vein and want them to look nice, a little above average A lot of the fun for me is building them. I have liked the looks of some of the floor standers which are two units, the bass as one with the mid/high sitting on top. I haave seen some nice examples of this in the past.So - the request, can you point me to some plans that may meet what I am looking for. I don't mind paying for plans, free is better. Thanks for any help.. Jason |

Hi Jason,
I have a Dennis Murphy designed 3-Way. Unfortunately the woofers are no longer sold but may be acquired with a wanted to buy request. The drivers are Peerless 10" CSX 850146, Seas W15CY001 and the Raven R1 tweeter. It is passive and all sealed. There are no grills but the magnets are imbedded in the baffles to provide attachment.

I'm pretty sure WES components(Wagner Electronics) still carry that CSX woofer, it's in the catalog that I have.
