Hi All
I managed to secured a pair of used Dynaudio Audience 70 speakers at a very low price. However the D260 Esotec tweeters' domes were them are dented. Is it ok that i replaced this pair of Dented Dome tweeters with a pair of new Dynaudio D28/2 tweeters. Thanks for your help Regards Nicholas |

you can replace them and see what happens as long as your D28 nominal impedance = your 260 nominal impedance.....
i have a friend who liked D28 better than D260... i know that the freq response and cut off point are slightly different for those 2 tweeters.....so if you want to be perfect, you have to change the crossover a bit (especially if the original crossover has some impedance compensation circuitry in it)... |
