I have build me speakers, using Fostex fullrange fe 126e.. It sounds great with my super t-amp.. This system have it's own room, I tried first to have it on my main soundroom, but it was too big, now in the small room it sounds great.

Looks great!
Is that built to the Fostex Recommended Bass Reflex Enclosure size? How do you like the bass response and are you using a BSC?

BSC = Baffle Step Correction
http://www.quarter-wave.com/General/BSC_Sizing.pdf Attached is a quick sim of the fostex BR enclosure. Based on the sim results, I would guess that an aggressive BSC could help.

Hello Everybody,
I 'm starting to build Frugal Horn(full version but without wedgies) with FE126E and I would like to know if BSC is applicable to this project or is only applicable on BR system. Thanks Richard. |

I don't have bcs on my speakers, and I don't think bass is a problem on mine one..

Richard, with the supra-baffle (which I personally consider a critical component of both the FrugalHorn and Ron Clarke's A126), baffle step EQ should be redundant.
