Default 206ES-R loud pop on startup

Hello,

I finally have my 206ES-Rs loaded into the Fostex BLH enclosure. I hooked up my old Marantz 1060 amp to them. When I turned on the amp, I was greeted with an awfully loud pop and crackle from both speakers. When i connected the amp to another pair of speakers, there were no noises made on startup.

What could cause my problem, and how can I fix it?

Thanks!

Sounds like the problem is with your amp. Now reconnect the ES-Rs and see what happens.
