Anyone heard of Electrovoice ARES speakers?
There's a pair of these at my local thrift store. They look like end tables, right down to the table top and fake doors. One had it's front off, and there seems to be a 12 inch woofer, 5 inch midrange and 3 inch cone tweeter. There's also a five position HF contour switch on the back with a response plot for the different positions.
The one that's open has a Pyle 12 inch woofer installed, so I know that at least that one is not stock. They want 30 dollars for the pair, but I'd need a truck to pick them up. Anyone?? |
