Hello!
I am designing shelf speakers using SEAS P17RCY and SEAS 22TAF/G speakers and i would like to simulate my crossover in OrCad (see more there: http://shine7.com/audio/orcad.htm ) but i can't model the tweeter properly because I couldn't find or calculate Qms or Rms values.
So my question is: does anyone has measured values of Rms or Qms of the SEAS 22TAF/G?
Thank you in advance for any replies
regards

Hi ostry,
I checked your datafile for SEAS 22TAF/G (www.seas.no)
http://www.seas.no/Prestige Diskanter PDF/22TAF_GH1283.pdf
and I would model with
mechanical reactance
L2 = 1.4mH
C1 = 14uF
R2 = 12
hope this helps,
take care.

thank you very much dear Inductor, I will try with your values. Mine (calculated) are:
C1 = 21,12 uF
C2 = 0,743 uF
L2 = 0,993 mH
R2 = ? (unable to calculate it without Rms)
once again thanks for your effort
if someone has the measurements of Rms, feel free to post them here
