And where do I get more info on it??
I never thought about building my own home speakers until I saw the Gods of Thunder:

I need to know more! What are the advantages of such a build? How do you determine the specs?
Ive built subboxes for vehicles before, but never anything for the house...

If you are talking about the large folded horn at the bottom, it is a full range rear loaded horn design. IIRC, this is a Nelson Pass effort and there was a small write up in Speaker Builder/Audio Amateur a year or so ago. It is not a "sub". The advantages are debatable. Some feel that fullranges offer a purer sound due to the lack of a crossover. Others feel that when listening to a fullrange speaker you are listening to all of the resonant modes of the driver.

Do a search on horn speakers, buit be prepared to wade through a lot of over-hyped enthusiast statements. If you take what is said by these "horn freaks" about these designs at face value, it appears there is no way to make a bad design. These are sort of a cult speaker like TL's, or ESL's, or BOSE for that matter IMO, fullranges like Lowthers or Fostex sound rather untidy. To do almost everything else poorly just to get rid of a crossover is a foolish compromise. But have fun with it

Ask yourself what you want your loudspeaker system to do. Do you just want it to play loud? Do you want accurate sound reproduction? Do you want your speakers to take up an entire room in your home? Or do you want to build something that just looks cool and will impress your friends?

Answer these questions honestly and that will help point you in the right direction.
