It all boils down to a box for the bombardon, ported or closed, and a smallish open baffle for the 9710 on top of that.
But since I already have a very similar setup and there are many other projects waiting, I've decided to part with these speakers and put them on ebay.
Thanks for the help!

I am still very happy with my combination from the aforementioned Dutch booklet "luidsprekerbehuizingen voor zelfbouw".
I added one Philips dome tweeter and packed the 9710 in a small bucket full of Isover. Combination sounds a lot brighter.
I am looking for 1x 9710M in almost new state (if that is possible). Anyone?

The Philips Monitor 8 transmission line studio monitor also uses the 9710M fullrange speaker

Looks like the original cabinet is very simple and can be reverse engineered within minutes - at least in Rhino.

I could draw up plans and sections quickly if someone out there can help me figure out the transmission line paths for this original Philips design. Sorry I can't run Mathcad now because the I don't have a Windows based OS.

I tried to email him about this booklet, but I can't since I'm under moderation as a new member.

Maybe somebody has access to this "luidsprekerbehuizingen voor zelfbouw" booklet?
