What in the world are they thinking about when designing a face plate like this. And what's up with 90 dB?

Hi,
All you need is a couple of circle templates of the radius used + scroll/jigsaw to make a router jig from 3/8" HDF.
If you're of steady hand, draw the template onto the baffle and freehand a 1/4" straight router bit and ripout the excess with a 1/2" (it can be done!)
Cheers!

A technique similar to this can be used for any irregular shaped driver, I've used it on my Focal TC120TD5's and some Aurum Cantus woofers ...
