Tymphany Line Array Transducer LAT500 review
Hi,
Are there any people our there with experience on the line array transducers from Tymphany ? Looks like an interesting new concept for high end as this company owns scanspeak and peerless Like to hear opinions how sound compares to units from Scan Speak and Dynaudio for instance Adrie |

The LAT500 is a subwoofer unit which should provide performance of two 10" drivers in a 5" wide tube.

I'm curious to know: is it actually available to the DIY market?
It seems like they're hoping to "make the big-time" in the plasma and LCD tv market, which is very nice for them but seriously annoying for anyone who might want to make a one-off or low volume purchase.

Hi All,
LAT500 would be available for European DIY market for september. Hope it will not be delayed again (should be available in june) But don't know for other markets like Canada/US and Australia. LAT250 are only targeted for OEM market, and don't know about LAT700. Regards, Franck |
