looks like you did a nice build, but not really clear what the design is- you took the parts out of the B&W and reboxed them? If you retained the crossover, did you maintain the same baffle orientation (spacing/location between drivers)?

thanks for the comment i did not think anyone was going to bother to say anything even if it was bad i would not have minded.

o and covered in a vinyl stuff the black is a wood one and the front like a marble what is easier to see
front was going to be a perpex black 3mm but did not bother in the end

i have a cc6s2 in my home cin system anyway and now build this one.
the test sound by ear was good the same or better seems to come out louder as well,,,, to the b&w one

i got the parts brand new, apart from the crossover what come off ebay used for £6
could have got it new.. spare/replacement from site but that would be £50..
then took the ruff width and size of the box and then made my own......
the speaker holes and others, i more went with an equal spaced out way so basicly it be near the same places that the normal one is.....

then i have 2 rears to make witch have a viva tweeter and a peerless hds mid with port... will be wired up silver as well as silver cross over wire but wont make them just yet as i have few things to do

hi,if you bought the crossover of ebay pre make. chances are its not right for the drivers.you need a properly designed xover.there are free software programs you can download that will help you get there.also using silver wire, but not having a proper xover is not going to help the sound

sorry i was a bit unclear

it is a proper cc6s2 cross over made by B&W perfect for the speakers and sounds better or just good as the cc6s2 i have one already
i ment i could spent £50 got in new but i found one been used and taken out for a cc6s2 but for £6
so every thing is fully b&w cc6s2 other than the port and the box i made if that helps

as on the subject of xovers this is one skill i do need to learn what programs to use and how to read them to put the bits together right now i get some else to do it for me what will cost more than me doing it my self i can solder just need simple enough to tell me what to go where
