Default Jbl 2245 Vs 2247 ???

So i have two sets of drivers, 2245J's and 2247J's Which are better and why??

Isn't the set of 7's just a newer set of 5's??? What is different about the 7's?

i am trying to decide which set to keep and which to sell?

I also have a set of 2210 alnico's i am about to put up for sale plus a whole slew of 2" JBL horns with 1" adapters.

The only difference between the 2425 and 2427 is that the 2425 has a fixed non-detachable 1" throat adapter. The 2427 use the same motor, diaphragm, and phase plug but has a threaded snout that could be used with a threaded 1" adapter, making a 2426, or the included 2" adapter making the 2427.

2447 with it's different phase plug, different diaphragm, and 1.5" exit has less distortion and more high end.

Hello,

What do you think of the powdered (aquaplas?) coated 4" diaphragms? How's it compared to the 2441 style? Ever use a coated one in the older phase plug drivers?

How about a 2247 diaphragm compared to 2240 or 2241 style in the older phase plug drivers?

I've been using the 2241 diaphrams in some 15" Beyma coax's and could use a bit more on the top end. Not quite as smooth as I'd like either. I've considered the Radians..

Thanks
