A few of the drivers I'd like to try (Usher and Dayton) offer frequency and impedence data as a .txt file, rather than a plot. Instead of using a tool like SPLTrace to import the data, will any of the FRD tools import the data in text format? Any help is appreciated.

The .FRD file type is a standard ASCII text file. It just needs to have the proper header and column delimiter. See this webpage for the specifics:
http://www.pvconsultants.com/audio/frdis.htm You can use a standard text editor (MS Wordpad) to make the necessary changes, save the file and rename it to (whatever).FRD and it should load with no problems. Hope this helps, Edward |
