I'm almost done with priming these speakers I'm building, the design is based off from Tony Gee's Modulus (http://www.humblehomemadehifi.com/Modulus.html)
![]() the drivers I'm using are, - Vifa Vifa MA26WR09-04 10" Black Aluminum cone woofer, currently playing filtered at 30hz (4th order filter) - 300hz (1st order filter) - Dayton Audio RS 125 - 300hz (4th order filter) - 2.5khz (4th order filter) - BG Neo 3 non-cup/open back - 2.5 khz (4th order filter) - 20khz the processors are the deq2496 and dcx2496 I'm really liking the midrange and the tweeter, open and detailed, could be a bit aggressive on certain songs, but not harsh. The bass blends in very well with the dipole midrange/tweeter, but I still find it lacks some speed compare to my other speakers. Any recommendations? I can use the DEQ2496 to autoEQ, but I'd like to avoid doing that for now. I'll be able to do some measurements in a week or so. |
