I have made some cylindrical bass traps to go along with my hanging bass panels (prior thread).
I put thick plastic along 1/2 of the periphery to reflect some HF, but I am still figuring out the proper angle to turn them for best imaging.
While I have a lof of absorption in my room now, bass is still very strong, it just is tighter with more focus. I'm happy with the results.
What do you think?

I made a couple of 17" traps and they do work well. But to be effective ones needs quite a few. So I am planning to build more. The problem is to find enough space in my living room to put them.
I think they look fine, and personally I like the look of circular ones. Think you guys are lucky over there...I checked out prices on the rigid circular F/glass in order to make some. You don't wanna know how expensive it is, TOTALLY impractical to buy for this purpose.
Back to the drawing board.
I second the motion for before and after measurements!!
