Default Has anyone sucessfully removed a glued down cone?

I have a pair of damaged Tannoy Monitor Blacks with glued down treated paper surrounds. I would like to remove the cones, repair them, and reinstall them. Any suggestions?

Both frames were bent and the cones have wrinkles in them because of it. I want to remove the cones, true the baskets and replace the repaired cones.

Hi,

I imagine you can :

a) remove the felt.
b) use a solvent to to lift the suspension edges away from the frame.
c) humidify the cones to make them easier to "de-crease".

but

d) don't you still have the problem of the fixed central suspension ?
making the cones impossible to remove ?

The spiders are held in by three bolts. They are very easy to remove.
What I need to know is how to dissolve the adhesive holding the surround down without further damaging the cones.
