I am thinking to build new speakers.
Have now 2 way ML-TQWT's and like bass response of them, but the units are far too old by now (Audax woofer +/- 1985, and Focal keflar tweeters are only slightly newer!)

Think of a D'appolito ML-TQWT with two Peerless HDS exclusive 18cm Nomex drivers, and inbetween a B&G Neo3 PDR tweeter, only tweeter in dipole with a sort of cone behind it to reflect the rear radiated sound to the sideways. This to reduce interference problems when i place the speakers more to the wall. The cone behind neo3 will be some parabolic, and made of a thinner wall because the TL passes through in the cone. Made a raw sketch and scan it soon to show.

Tweeter (Neo3 RAW):

Mid-woofer; http://www.tymphany.com/papers/hds_intro.htm

But the Peerless has a Qts of 0.36 i wonder if a ML-TQWT is possible then. (The now used Audax has a Qts of 0.5)

Thanks
